I found everything similar to my old iP4500 except that I cannot print directly on CD or DVD and it takes a little longer to start printing. Print quality is excellent. I just have to get used to using the bottom paper tray.

Can't say enough about this little printer - it is absolutely amazing! It is hard to believe the quality of the pictures I have printed. I recently scanned a magazine cover that stars our football running back grandson and the printed photo is better that the actual magazine cover. The ink is very easy to install and there are so many setting for printing that you can print a large volume of pages using very little ink. Tip: Buy the multipacks of inks as they are much more economical. I also use the Canon photo paper and the quality is terrific!

I just needed a basic printer that was reasonable on ink and put out good quality photos. I already had a separate scanner and didn't need an all in one. This printer has met my needs and expectations well. The only thing that I would like to see added is wireless capability.

If your are looking for a printer that does great photos and regular print jobs, this is the right one. In other words, this is a simple printer. I really wanted a printer for doing only photos and it's hard to find such an animal. The color rendition is very,very good. It is a bit slow printing but I can live with that because the color quality is so good. How long the cartridges last? I don't know since so far they have not run out of ink!!! For the price, I don't think you will find a better printer.

This is a great printer. It is easy to set up and use, it's fast, quiet, looks good, and the ink can be replaced one color at a time as it runs out. I have given two of them as gifts.
