5 out of 5 stars Easy to Use   March 9, 2010
Manbir Punia (LAX)
Instructions are simple to follow, works great with the Airport Extreme I purchased also. I have my entire home covered with Wi-Fi. I can stream music through it which is another plus. Really do like this product. Looks great unlike some of the cheaper versions you can buy. I can highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Quick & Easy solution to many home networking problems   March 8, 2010
John Connors (Colchester, VT United States)
I have never used Apple networking products until recently but now I am a complete convert. I used the Apple Airport Express to connect an older Windows PC & laser printer to my existing WLAN. It was so easy that I purchased another Airport Express to connect my Linux workstation to my home network as well rather than deal with Linux drivers for WLAN cards & devices. I just attached each computer via the ethernet cable rather deal with wireless adapters for each computer. Another big plus, I can update the Airport code centrally. I am also sharing a Brother laser printer via the Airport's USB port with each of the different computers on my home WLAN. Airports are very flexible & easy to deploy devices. My only complaint is that the MSRP is too high but they do work as advertised. If I can pick up another Airport for $50, I would keep it in my bag for when I travel to setup a personal WLAN in my hotel room using the hotel's wired ethernet instead of the problematic (..and expensive) WLAN. I am very satisfied with my Airport purchase via Amazon reseller network and would do so again. I have purchased a used Airport from another vendor and it works like a charm. The WLAN extension is great.

Home network : 1 Apple Time Capsule (connected to broadband modem via ethernet cable), 2 Apple Airport Express extending home WLAN to connect 2 Windows XP PCs, 1 MacBook, 1 Brother 2070N laser printer & 1 Ubuntu Linux PC/workstation.

5 out of 5 stars iMac AirPort   March 8, 2010

5 out of 5 stars Another fantastic Apple product -- It just WORKS!!   March 7, 2010
Gemmer (Florida)
I love this product!!

I bought it to connect my ITUNES on my PC via Ethernet cable (in my case)to my stereo system. It works flawlessly!!! I can now also control my ITUNES on my PC with a free Apple application for my IPHONE, called REMOTE. So now I can sit in front of my stereo away from my computer, have my music go over my ethernet cable (home lan) to the stereo and control my ITUNES music with my IPHONE, wirelessly. Is that a kick!!! And the whole thing works FLAWLESSLY!! Thank you Apple.

I loved this device so much that I bought a second one to use while traveling and in a hotel room. I plug it into the room's ethernet jack in the wall and I can now use my laptop wirelessly. I don't have to plug the laptop into the ethernet jack allowing me to use my laptop anywhere in the room.

Only slight disadvantage is that the setup instructions are a little obscure. Once you get it though, it becomes easy. There are excellent instructions also posted in one of these reviews. Do not hesitate to get this device, though.

5 out of 5 stars So easy a caveman could do it   February 28, 2010
Nick Honner (Seattle)
I bought two of these to replace the original version which only had 802.11b/g as I was upgrading my network to 802.11n. Externally the device is identical. The Airport Utility software to manage and set these up on my network is now trivially simple to use. It's hard to imagine how anything could be simpler. Remote audio and printing in seconds. Incidentally I sold my original units on Amazon and easily got $50 each which is pretty incredible for a 5 year old electronics product. There is high demand from those in the know.
