Surprised for the fast delivery July 21, 2010 ibook_user The product is good as it should; but surprised me is the delivery. It is at door in just three days.
Make sure which adapter you need July 18, 2010 John Mara (Queens NY) Your Mac may have a mini-vga port, a mini DVI port or a mini display port. Make sure you know which adapter you need.
Make sure it will do what you want it to do. June 2, 2010 David J. Riffle (Phoenix AZ) I was dumb and assumed I could use this to expand the iMac desktop to a two monitor system. My fault for not decoding the word, "mirroring." Anyway, I plug it into the Mac and connect a CRT VGA monitor that is capable of 1920x1200 and then turn on the Mac. The Mac now dumbs down it's own display to 800x600 along with setting the VGA monitor to that setting. For some reason, the Mac can't set the VGA or it's own monitors to good resolutions. I realize that what a cable looks like is more important to some people, but how it and it's computer operate is more important to me.
Yes, I know about going into the menus and changing the resolution settings, yes I know I was expecting more of this cable than it's designed for, and yes I'm unable to find cables sexy, so I'm not a true Mac-head. But, I'm writing this in hopes of making it clear what this cable does specifically with an iMac and a CRT VGA display. Pass the kool-aide. :-)
Mini VGA to VGA Cord Replacement May 11, 2010 L. Saenz (AMERICA) The cord I purchased was delivered the day after I ordered it, that was very cool! What can I say, the cord works and I will order my next adapter or cord from the same person, Thanks!

Works for me. January 30, 2010 Julian P. Lazaro (San Diego, CA United States) This cable has been working for me, only issue worth mentioning is that my iMac 800mhz has a frozen refresh rate of 75hz, cannot be changed with any 3rd party software. This results in some very light, barely noticeable scan lines on my 120hz Vizio HDTV. Now I'm quite sure that a better quality HDTV does a better job of converting the refresh rates in order to make a solid image on the screen, and either way it works. Because the max resolution on my mac is 1024x768, the image on the TV is not super sharp, but it's not blurry either. If you plan to use this cable to connect an external monitor, I'm sure that it will work absolutely perfectly. I bought mine used and it has been working perfectly for several months. I don't doubt that some of these cables end up working poorly (according to various reviews) but then again the world is full of people who don't know what they are doing, am I right? I bought a coaxial SVGA cable and have had no issues. Peace.
